Yes, Greg is home safe and sound now, but wouldn't you guess it, the one thing in the world short of an alien invasion that is more bizarre than a coup in Kyrgyzstan is holding up the rest of the Marines in 3/4 trying to get home. That's right - the volcano
Eyjafjallajökull erupted in Iceland and now the Marines who were scheduled to come home this weekend are stuck in Kuwait (where troops are going now after the Kyrgyzstan debacle) and won't get home until probably mid week at best. Which means everyone else may get delayed. Which means (and hopefully this won't happen), potentially leave could get pushed back a couple of days, and the flights that everyone has purchased may have to be changed. Ridiculous, I know. The point is, these Marines I'm sure are so exhausted and just want to get home, and I know for a fact that all of the families waiting for them to come home are even more frustrated. So, please, let's clear up any natural disasters and political revolutions and get these guys home!
Why Greg was stuck in Kyrgyzstan last week....
...and why other Marines are stranded this week....
